Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 24, 2026
RadicalMath ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website and use our platform.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that you directly provide to us or that is automatically collected through third-party services:
- Google OAuth & Authentication Data: When you sign up using Google or other providers (via Clerk), we collect your email address, name, and profile picture. We use this strictly for account creation, identification, and communication.
- Usage Data & Learning Progress: We track your completed topics, quiz scores, and interaction with our platform to provide you with personalized learning paths and spaced repetition (SRS) schedules.
- Payment Information: All payments are securely processed by our third-party provider (Lava.top). We do not store or process your credit card numbers or raw financial data on our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your data is used exclusively to improve your learning experience:
- To maintain and secure your account.
- To calculate your math proficiency level and adjust difficulty.
- To send important service updates, security alerts, and weekly progress digests.
3. AI and Data Processing
RadicalMath uses advanced Artificial Intelligence (e.g., OpenAI API) to evaluate math answers and provide Socratic feedback. When you submit a math problem or ask for a hint, the text of your request is sent to our AI providers. We do not use your personal identity data (name, email) in these AI requests, and our API agreements prevent these providers from using your submitted data to train their public models.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information with our partners for analytics purposes.
5. Your Data Rights & Deletion
You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information. If you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated learning data, you can do so through your account settings or by contacting us at support@radicalmath.com. Upon request, all your personal data will be wiped from our databases within 30 days.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
