Before you subscribe

The questions people ask most often about billing and what each plan actually gives you.

What is included in the free plan?

The free plan is permanent, not a trial. It includes unlimited theory lessons, unlimited basic problems at school and university level, unlimited static hints, ten Socratic AI feedback sessions per day, access to the basic skill paths, and digital completion certificates.

What it does not include is Drill Mode, the premium skill paths, and the Tier 3 deep reasoning and deep dive modes. You can study seriously on the free plan for as long as you like without entering payment details.

Do I need to pay to use the learning paths?

No — the basic skill paths are part of the free plan, so you can follow a structured sequence from the start. Paid plans unlock the full set of premium paths.

You can also browse every path and topic in the library before creating an account, so you can check that the material matches what you need first.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes. You can cancel from your account settings at any time, and you will not be billed for the next cycle. You keep full access to your paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Cancelling stops future billing but does not by itself refund the current period — see the next question.

Do you offer refunds?

Generally no. Access to the paid content is granted immediately on payment, so all sales are final, and we do not offer partial or full refunds for monthly or annual subscriptions once a payment has been processed.

We do make exceptions at our discretion for genuine billing errors — such as being charged twice for one cycle — and for prolonged outages that prevented you from using the service. If either applies, contact support@radicalmath.io before opening a dispute with your bank. The full terms are in our refund policy.

This is exactly why the free plan is uncapped: we would rather you established that the platform works for you before paying anything.

What is the difference between Pro and Ultra?

Pro is built around volume of practice: 100 Socratic AI feedback sessions per day, every basic problem across all blocks, Drill Mode for targeted pattern repetition, and all skill paths.

Ultra adds depth rather than more of the same — Tier 3 deep reasoning from the AI, unlimited feedback and hints, and Deep Dive Mode with advanced problem sets per micro-topic. If you are preparing for exams, Pro is usually enough; Ultra is for the hardest material.

Paying annually costs about 17% less than paying monthly on either plan.
